Pumpkin Patch

For General Conference weekend, we had quite the sibling party at our house. Parker came down from Rexburg, Dani had work off, and Meg was in UT for her internship! After the Saturday conference sessions, we ventured on down to the cutest lil pumpkin patch and had ourselves a lil frolic.

Fall Break 2015: Arches + Canyonlands

For Justin’s fall break we decided to go spend a few days in Arches and Canyonlands National Park. We had done most of the popular hikes in Arches, but had never seen all that the park had to offer. We did basically every hike possible, except for the Fiery Furnace since JD wasn't allowed in :)

Canyonlands was a completely new adventure to us and we absolutely loved it! Gorgeous views for miles and miles. We hiked to some sweet Aztec Ruins, a weird inverse crater/volcano thing, along the rim of the canyon overlook, and to even more arches! JD loved to sit in the carrier and sip water from the camelback while we hiked the hours away, and J was a trooper to carry him on most of the hikes.

Our hotel had a pool and while I may have been too chicken to jump into the cold water, the boys enjoyed splashing around.

Stewart Little #2

Giving JD a peek at our new lil' punkin! We've got another Stewart Little coming this April!

We could not be more excited to announce that our family is growing! J and I have always known that we wanted our kids to be fairly close in age, so it was very exciting when we finally found out that we were pregnant and could announce it to the world. We had been trying for what seemed like a while, so the etch-a-sketch plus sign couldn't have come at a better time!

We can't wait to add another punkin to our family! This pregnancy has been a little different than my first, but overall things have been great and I can't complain too much. The main difference has been that throughout the first trimester, I’ve been getting really bad stomach cramps every night. I know I’m lucky to not be throwing up and nauseated, but these cramps are something else I tell ya! But it’s similar to my pregnancy with JD in that I’m absolutely exhausted and all I want to do it sleep allllll the day long.

For those of you wondering we are hoping to keep the gender a surprise again! I absolutely loved not knowing with JD. Nothing beats that moment in the delivery room when your husband tells you 'It's a ___!' All the good things. All the good things.
