The funniest, but most terrifying thing in the world that has ever happened to me - just happened.
Justin left home at 6 PM to go take his Chemistry final. I stayed home to study, but whilst studying I fell asleep (listening to the Piano Guys on Pandora will do that to you!). I fell asleep for good, and did not wake up until 8:13 AM the next day! The first thing I thought when I woke up was how good it felt to get that much sleep. Then I turned to Justin's side of the bed --- and he wasn't there.
"Babe?" I said out loud. The light in the living room was on so I thought maybe he was in there.
No answer.
I jumped out of bed and looked in the living room. Justin wasn't there. I checked my phone. No text messages, missed calls, anything! I ran outside (in almost zero clothing) to see if our car was at home. It wasn't. I dialed Justin's number - no answer. Redialed his number -- again, no answer. I was panicking and running around in every direction. I called Justin 3 times, and did not get an answer once. I called my sister Megan - no answer. I started balling - I was so scared. Where was Justin? Did he not come home after his test last night? Did he come home but then leave early that morning for something? Why wouldn't he leave me a note? I started to call my Mom - but quickly hung up because it was an hour earlier her time and I did not want to wake up the grandkids at 7 AM (lame thought concerning the circumstances, but it's true). I started to call Haley since she was the closest to me, but I stopped - instead I called Madison, finally an answer!
Madz: "Hey, B!" In her cheery happy voice.
Me: "Madz?" My voice cracked and I was sobbing.
Madz: "B, are you ok? What's wrong?" Very concerned and knowing immediately that something was very, very wrong.
Me: "I don't know where Justin is!" more sobbing and heartbreak as fear crept inside of me.
Madz: "Are you locked out of your house?"
Me: "No." sob sob sob "Justin left last night to take a test and I just woke up and I have no idea where he is... He never came home! Madz I'm so scared. I don't know what to do..." I seriously was sobbing so hard.
Madz: "B I..."
Me: "Wait --- is it morning?!" I cut her off.
Madz: "No it's night time..."
Me: finally realizing what had happened, my heavy sobs turned into laughter.
I had woken up at 8:13PM, only 2 hours after Justin had left to take his test. That meant that Justin was still taking his test, which was why he did not answer his phone! I was now crying tears of joy and laughing because I was so relieved! Justin is fine! He is alive! And he will be home soon!
I am slightly embarrassed about this - but I blame BYU finals week. It's driving me crazy. I seriously was so close to calling the cops and organizing a search party. But, I don't care about the embarrassment - I am just so so SO grateful that Justin will be home soon. I have never been so scared, or so happy.

J & I have started our very own, non-exclusive bike gang. Spinning through the streets, laughing and giggling and enjoying the spring nights - can life get any better?! I submit that it cannot! Last week, Meg joined us for a night of adventures. I think it's safe to say we had a little too much fun!

Mac's & Migraines
Last Friday, J & I made our first "big" purchase since being married. And, it was not expected, planned for, or budgeted. Hence, the migraine. My old computer had been giving me a headache all semester - randomly crashing, losing my projects, deciding to work perfectly, and then crashing again. I reformatted the hard drive, thinking that would fix my problems. Then, the blue screen of death happened. I reformatted again. Big blue came back. I reformatted a third time - no luck. Lots of tears were shed. There was a month left in the semester, and school was only going to get busier. I needed a computer.
Thursday was my computers last day on this earth. RIP. I was stressed all day long. So stressed, that I could feel my eyebrows furrowed the entire day. I tried to massage them and relax, but I couldn't. I felt so bad. This financial burden was all my fault. I just got married, and once your married your not supposed to make big purchases like this. Why was this happening? Why couldn't my computer just stick it out for another month? I came home with a huge migraine. When Justin came home from work, he saw how sick I was, and gave me a blessing. I am so grateful to be married to a man worthy to hold the priesthood - a man willing and ready to use the power of God when needed and called upon. After the blessing, Justin held me and sang "Be Still My Soul" until I fell asleep.
In the morning, I felt at peace with the purchase that needed to be made. I decided not to have any more second thoughts about it - I needed a computer. I wasn't buying it for fun, I was buying it because it was a necessity. So, off we went to the BYU Bookstore, and little Mac was adopted into our family.

It's the Most, Wonderful Time, of the Year!
This blog title is quite "Christmas -y", but I thought it was fitting since Easter was this past Sunday. After all, "there would be no Christmas if there were no Easter..." Like Christmas, Easter is a wonderful time to celebrate our Savior, Jesus Christ, and His amazing sacrifice. He died for us. He loves us. And He wants us to return to Him. I know He is my Savior, and I know that He lives.
J & I spent Saturday night with his sister, Tami. It was so fun to wake up Easter morning and be a part of their Easter traditions. Tami has 4 amazing & adorable kids, and on Easter they woke up to a quest - a scavenger hunt to find their baskets! I love how Tami & Claradene connected the scavenger hunt clues to the Savior and His resurrection. I think it is so so so important to keep the focus on Christ, and not on the Easter Bunny.
Tami was also so sweet to think of me & Justin - she had an Easter box full of gifts for us, too! I loved it! Since Justin & I decided last minute to stay the night with Tami, we didn't have any of our Easter gifts with us, so it was fun to still get a little surprise! Tami got all of the kiddos spring gardening gloves, and J & I got a pair as well! Go Gardening! Green means go!
We went to church, and then came back to Tami's to prepare an Easter feast!
Then, I went to my sister Sarah's house for a second feast :)
I love Sarah, Jim, and their 4 beautiful children, and it was so special to spend hours with them Sunday evening. Sarah & Jim are moving to Colorado this week, so this visit was especially meaningful, as it was my last time with them in their home. Megan, Parker and I all got to be there, and it was so much fun playing with the kids, hiding easter eggs, having an easter devotional, and then spending time with Sarah and Jim once the kids went to bed. I will cherish those memories forever.

Holi Double Rainbow
This weekend J & I went to the Holi Festival of Colors in Spanish Fork! I absolutely lovvveee this event. This year was especially fun, because it was my first time going with J : ) AND, because my little brother came down from Rexburg to join the festivities!
I'm so happy we had enough time to go to the festival! J didn't get off work until 2, and we had a wedding reception to attend at 6...but we drove down, beat the traffic, painted with joy, drove home, took a 2 minute shower and made it to the reception! Holi Holi Holi!
