Christmas Card

if my {subtle} blog changes don't say 'Merry Christmas' enough, try this:
Merry Christmas!

justin & i went back and forth about whether or not to do a Christmas card this year...
pros: it's tradition! it's fun!
cons: it's weird to do a card with only two of us...it's expensive...it's a hassle...we won't have time to do it with finals...blah blah blah
it made more sense to not send out a card - but that didn't sit quite right with me...
luckily, we found this beautiful barn which swayed us to make the right choice!
so, we sent out cards this week! very simple, homemade, and no Christmas letter included - but hey that's what this blog is for anyways

cards were sent out wednesday...so be checking your mail boxes!
andddd - if you didn't get one, and really really want one - we may or may not have printed too many and would absolutely LOVE to send you one, if you'd like!

One Year Photos: Take Two

i warned you that lots more pics were coming!
this photo shoot was too much fun...we were completely ourselves and didn't have to worry
about how to pose, if we were smiling naturally, or how our hair looked
we just played in the snow & frolicked to our hearts delight.

i love how the pictures turned out - they captured us perfectly

One Year Photos: Take One

J and I took some photos while we were in Park City for our 'one year'
this shoot was pretty spontaneous - we had originally just planned to do a fun, laid back,
let's-play-in-the-snow shoot - but when we saw this barn+big beautiful wreath, we couldn't help ourselves!

tomorrow I'll post some fun photos from our snow day/play date shoot

one year ago

one year ago, Justin and I were married in the Salt Lake Temple
our wedding day wasn't they way I had imagined it to be - it was quite chilly, very windy, and the rains poured down on us when we made our grand exit from the reception
but, it didn't matter that our wedding day wasn't exactly how i had imagined or hoped -
what mattered was that i was sealed for time and all eternity to Justin Dean Stewart

J makes me feel treasured, and truly loved every single day

i have never experienced the levels of love or happiness as i have this past year - i can't even comprehend the happiness and love i will feel when our family grows, because even just having a family of 2 has been remarkable
this past year has definitely been the best year of my life, and I can't wait to spend year after year after year into eternity with J by my side

and...I can't wait to eat our delicious {and most beautiful} cake tonight!

oh and p.s. - shout out to these cute kids on their 37th Anniversary today, too!
