Third month's the charm!

It has been 3 months since December 17, 2012! It's funny how the first year you are married, you celebrate each month's anniversary, but as you get older, those celebrations die off... J & I got married on my parents 36th anniversary, but I don't think that my parents celebrated their 36 years and 3 months anniversary : ) Oh well, I'm not ashamed of our over-giddy first year of marriage! GO MARRIAGE!

So far this month has been busy busy with school - and birthdays! Last year on J's birthday I was in Jerusalem, so all he got was an email and a phone call - but this year it was high time to spoil him!

Birthday muffins! I didn't think to get a cake mix, and I didn't think to get candles...we made do :) And it was ok because Tami made a DELICIOUS ice cream cake for J!

J's birthday packages tied up in my scarves!

The birthday boy with his presents!

The rest of the day was spent at school, but that night we went out to Red Lobster and stuffed our faces. Then, we went to the theater to see The Great and Powerful Oz, and some of J's friends were there to surprise him!

One of the sweetest things. On HIS birthday, Justin bought me a rose. It was adorable and I loved it.

Also, I am happy to announce that we finished painting our  kitchen! AND, we sold the lovesac! Thanks Rupper : ) Our apartment is really starting to feel like our home. Some of my favorite dates with J are going on scavenger hunts to DI or on KSL to find furniture or things for our home. It's so much fun!

Dear Justin,

This past weekend we celebrated J's birthday - it was so fun to spoil him :) We partied, opened presents, ate delicious food,  and spent time with our families. Since we were so busy over the weekend, I didn't get to post on J's birthday (coming soon!) - but  I thought it would be fun to do a little shout out to Justin

Justin makes me happy, every.single.moment. of every.single.day
Justin has a childlike optimism for life
Justin loves to be active: soccer, basketball, waterski, football, bike ride, hike, run, fly kites...anything but frisbee :)
Justin could watch movies all day long
Justin loves shoes. He has quite a collection of bright, flashy Nike's
Justin is clean. He is always picking up after me, washing the dishes, or tidying up something
Justin is amazing at everytihing he tries. Seriously, sometimes this is soooo frustrating, but most of the time it is just plain awesome. J is talented and smart, and dominates in the things he is passionate about
Justin is caring and makes friends quickly
Justin loves me. He tells me every day, and he shows me through every action

I am truly the luckiest girl to have this man in my life. He is my home. I fall more in love with him every day, and I am so grateful that I found him.

Husband + Wife

He
...loves to play soccer
...loves juice
...loves to sing

...loves being an uncle
...loves her
She
...loves to play basketball
...loves ice cream
...loves art
...loves the piano
...loves him

WE

...love all of the above. And more.
I'm sure in some cases, opposites do attract. I mean it is a timeless saying after all!
But, J & I are so perfectly similar, sometimes even I think it's crazy.
We sure are glad we found each other.
