Quarter Quell

we had quite a busy weekend celebrating J's 25th time around the sun

it was a beautiful, sun shiny weekend and we played outside sunrise to sunset!

friday consisted of hitting up the slopes at Canyon's

saturday was filled with an 8 mile run, trip to the temple, sledding at Soldier Hollow, capped with a mighty fine steak at Texas Roadhouse

sunday we slept in (daylight savings got the better of us), so we attended a late sacrament meeting and then enjoyed a lovely picnic with the family. not to mention a week ago sunday was spent up in Draper  celebrating with more fam and the traditional ice cream cake a la Tami 

and here are a few (25) of my favorite things about J:

he is snuggly // he cooks // his hair flows // he is dang good at soccer // he loves to be active // he shows me what true love is // he is a handyman // he will call me just to tell me a funny story that happened to him // his patience // his teeth are whiter than your teeth // he plans spontaneous dates, but is also happy to spend a saturday morning just laying under the covers with me // every child LOVES him, i can't wait to see him be a daddy // he picks me up and carries me to bed, even though our apartment is only 25 sq. ft. // his laugh // he can sing, and lullabies me to sleep sometimes // when we get in an argument, he is always the first to apologize (curse my stubbornness) // he will run through the sprinklers // he comes into the room just to give me a kiss, and then leaves again // he turns off the lights  and locks the door at night because I'm too scared/lazy // he can dance // he always holds my hand // he gets in the shower first and tells me when it's warm enough so that I'm not freezing // he does push-ups naked // he never gets stressed // he loves me, and doesn't let me forget it
